4-MMC (Mephedrone)

4-Methylmethcathinone, commonly known as 4-MMC, Mephedrone, or M-CAT, is a synthetic stimulant and entactogen that falls under the cathinone class — a group of compounds related to the active alkaloid in the khat plant. Popularized in the UK and parts of Europe, 4-MMC rose to prominence for its powerful yet short-lived effects, often likened to a blend between MDMA and cocaine.

Recreational users report feelings of intense euphoria, stimulation, enhanced sociability, and increased empathy. It can reduce anxiety and inhibitions, heighten sensory perception, and often lead to a strong urge to move or talk.
